Come out this Saturday and Sunday, March 4 and 5, to explore the all-new MKT by bazbaz - a stylish, open-air marketplace in Wynwood featuring socially conscious goods and eats from 40+ local vendors, entrepreneurs, and artisans.
Take in the sky-high public art exhibition of HUMANAE by Brazilian artist Angelica Dass, which challenges our perception of race through a mosaic of 794 faces of diverse shapes, sizes, colors, ages and sexes from all over the world.
Locals and visitors can come out through the end of May and grab a bag of fresh produce from Florida's finest family owned farms, kick back to some homegrown live music with local artist, Wizzmer in the amphitheater, learn about local Miami charities, and satisfy their cravings with healthful, refreshing and delicious fare, all while engaging in some of the one the most important issues of our time.
By purchasing a piece of HUMANAE, anyone can contribute support and funding to the artist, as well as by bazbaz’s two charitable partners; Slow Food Miami and The Education Fund. The art can be purchased in a variety of sizes and configurations, including options to customize certain pieces with the buyer’s own portrait, taken by Angelica Dass in Miami or at her studio in Madrid, Spain.
